threefourteen is sponsoring a compilation competition. we will be releasing a 4-track EP for free download and promotiomal use entitled -GAME BEATZ all beats by XJN and made with nothing but a Nintendo Gameboy.

This is a unique opportunity to get yourself into some truly raw shit... for FREE. All you have to do is write a hook and 16 bars based on whichever of the four song themes you choose and email your rhyme to me.  I will not rip your shit off.  This is open to threefourteen fam and anybody else who wants a shot. 

Entrants will be judged on originality, delivery, and adherence to the theme... Recording expenses will be picked up by threefourteen so the winners will have to demonstrate they can rip that shit in like 6 takes MAX, feel me? 

I'll be posting a sample beat on the site so you can get an idea of what the tracks will sound like... they'll all have 4-8 bar hooks and no more than 3 16 bar verses... so that means there are 12 slots to fill on verses and 4 hooks.

I will also put a limited number of these into actual physical production through kunaki.com ... covers designed by me as well.  Each participant will get 1 for their colletion of course, and each will have the option to buy as many copies at cost to resell as they wish...
